Ivor Chicken Head Print

“When your mama was the geek, my dreamlets,” Papa would say, “she made the nipping off of noggins such a crystal mystery that the hens themselves yearned toward her, waltzing around her, hypnotized with longing.”
― Katherine Dunn, Geek Love

Ivor is named after the composer Ivor Novello. I Can Give You the Starlight is one of my favorite songs. It’s featured in the excellent film Gosford Park by Robert Altman. Check it out if you haven’t seen it yet.
